Case Study of Popular Wire Mesh Testing Sieves: How to Specify Test Sieves. Its Sieve Diameter and Depth

Testing sieves are specified by several terms: sifting or screening material, frame material, sieve diameter and sieve depth.

The sifting or filtering material is mostly woven wire mesh or perforated mesh. The wire mesh material can be specified by wire diameter, mesh, hole and wire material (ss, brass, etc.). If perforated metal is used, it can be specified by the metal uses (ss or carbon steel, etc), opening type and aperture.

Among above, the major outline sizes are the sieve diameter and depth to determine its apparent sizes. We are listing the following six types of testing sieves, detailed with diameter and depth numbers for case study.

Testing Sieve with 100 mm Diameter and 35 mm Depth

Testing Sieve with 8 Inch Diameter and 50mm Depth

Testing Sieve with 200 mm Diameter and 50 mm Depth

Testing Sieve with 200 mm Diameter and 25 mm Depth

Testing Sieve with 300 mm Diameter and 60 mm Depth

Testing Sieve with 75 mm Diameter and 30 mm Depth
