Metal mesh soil sieves have small size and light weight, allowing for high efficiency & high accuracy lab testing. Bolhes supplies soil sieves in two types: full depth test sieves and half depth sieves. The depth refers to the distance from the cover of the sieves o top of the sieve frame to the wire mesh fabric it uses for filtering. Bolhes test sieves full depth can be 1-1/4” to 2” and the half depth can be 5/8” to 1”.

Case Study of Soil Test Sieves:
12" sieve and 200mm soil sieve are produced by the standard ISO 3310-1/2:2000. The aperture sizes are from 3.35mm to 0.038mm. The frames and covers are made of stainless steel while the wire cloth is in all kinds of material such as brass, bronze, stainless steel and copper.
